In this video we take you on a behind the scenes look at a building demolition in Tampa Florida. This demolition crew worked around the clock in blazing heat, rain, and night to bring this building down. Most people think that explosives are what is needed to demolish a building but this team proves that there’s more than one way to bring down a building.
DroneVU Studios used multiple techniques combined with professional video and photography editing to complete this project. At DroneVU Studios we are experienced at both the ordinary and the extraordinary and we always use only the latest equipment, software, hardware, and techniques to bring you amazing videos and photography from around the Tampa Bay area and beyond.
We specialize at everything from construction videography to model photography. This video is a good example of how we used our experience to capture those key moments during the demolition project. Stay tuned as we continue to bring you aerial video, real estate video, drone photography, drone video, and traditional photography from around the Bay area.ccon
DroneVU Studios brings you yet another exclusive photo album of Stone Mountain Park located in Atlanta GA.
Stone Mountain is a quartz monzonite dome monadnock and the site of Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia. At its summit, the elevation is 1,686 feet MSL and 825 feet above the surrounding area. Stone Mountain is well-known not only for its geology, but also for the enormous rock relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world.
The top of the mountain is a landscape of bare rock and rock pools, and it provides views of the surrounding area including the skyline of downtown Atlanta, often Kennesaw Mountain, and on very clear days even the Appalachian Mountains. On some days, the top of the mountain is shrouded in a heavy fog, and visibility may be limited to only a few feet. The clear freshwater pools of the summit form by rainwater gathering in eroded depressions, and are home to unusual clam shrimp and fairy shrimp. The tiny shrimp appear only during the rainy season. Through the process of cryptobiosis, the tiny shrimp eggs (or cysts) can remain dormant for years in the dried out depressions, awaiting favorable conditions.
Walk Up Trail: A 1.3-mile (2.1 km) trail to the top of Stone Mountain ascending 786 ft (240 m) in elevation to a height of 1,686 ft (514 m). The trail is steep, but spectacular panoramic views and cool winds await hikers at the top.
Cherokee Trail: A 5-mile (8 km) National Recreation Trail, the Cherokee Trail loops around the mountain base, with a mile section going up and over the west side of the mountain (crosses Walk Up Trail). Primarily passes through an oak-hickory forest, but views of the lakes, streams, and mountain are common.
Nature Garden Trail: A scenic 3â4 mile (1.2 km) loop trail through a mature oak-hickory forest community. Excellent for viewing shade-loving native plants. A small garden with interpretive native plant signs is at the entrance to the trail.
Songbird Habitat Trails: Two loop trails each running 1 mile (1.6 km). The field trail is an excellent birding spot and the woodland trail provides shade and numerous native plants. Dogs are not allowed.
The Park features several attractions that are operated by Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation.
On summer evenings the mountain hosts the Stone Mountain Laser Show Spectacular, a fireworks and laser light display. The laser lightshow projects moving images of the Deep South as well as Georgia history onto the Confederate Memorial carving on the side of the mountain. During Memorial Day Weekend of 2011, Stone Mountain unveiled their overhaul of the laser show, dubbed Mountainvision. This incorporates digital projectors, lasers, special effects, and pyrotechnics.
The Skyride is a Swiss-built cable car to the summit of the mountain, which passes by the carving on the way up.
The Riverboat offered a scenic cruise aboard a reproduction of a Mississippi riverboat on 363-acre (147 ha) Stone Mountain Lake. It has been retired.
The Antebellum Plantation is a collection of historic buildings relocated from around the state of Georgia, including three plantation manor houses dating from 1794, 1850, and 1845, two slave cabins, a barn, and other outbuildings. The Plantation Farmyard features historic breeds of sheep, goats, and pigs that guests can pet.
Crossroads is a recreation of an 1872 southern town with several attractions including a modern 4-D movie theater, an adventure mini-golf course, a duck tour ride, stores and restaurants. Craft demonstrators include glass blowing and candy making. Other attractions in this area include:
The Great Barn is a children’s activity area that features 65 interactive games, climbing structures, trampoline floors, slides and more.
Sky Hike is a family ropes adventure course. Guests can choose their own path and level of challenge.
Geyser Towers is a playground featuring a large fountain at the entrance, so guests have the option of climbing through the course or getting wet.
We filmed this park from the air and from the ground using both our aerial drone platforms as well as traditional cameras.  To see the full photo album click the following link or the picture above. But as always there’s more to come as we are hard at work on editing, composing, and publishing the aerial and terrestrial video footage that we created of this awesome natural attraction.
In this virtual tour we use 100% video to tour an Odessa, FL equestrian Estate. What makes this property unique is that it has both waterfront access with a dock, as well as horse stables. We combined aerial video with traditional exterior and interior video to walk our viewers through this rare property.
DroneVU Studios specializes in creating virtual tours of high end properties such as this one throughout the Tampa Bay area. We can showcase your listing to your potential buyers using a variety of techniques including video, slideshows, aerial video, and traditional real estate photography.
This rare Odessa property is a great example of one of the many hidden real estate gems located right here in Tampa Bay. Combining a waterfront property with equestrian facilities lets its owners feel right at home with both their horses and their boats.
Only aerial video was capable of property showcasing the surrounding area for this property, and interior and exterior video was also used to ensure viewers saw the expansive interior, expansive kitchen, magnificent living room views of the waterfront, and the upstairs bedroom, gym, and bathroom.
For this customer we did not stop there, we also created interior, exterior, and aerial photographs of the property which will help this customer attract even the most exclusive clientele.

At DroneVU Studios we use only the latest equipment, techniques, and methods to continue to deliver high quality footage for everything from aerial real estate photography, to real estate video virtual tours. Our professional photographers and videographers are experts at ensuring your real estate listing looks its best.
In this post we would like to share some of our experiences from working with our extensive network of realtors as we continue to film real estate properties from the ground, interior, and from the air all over the Tampa Bay area.
One of the most common questions we get from our customers is what photography package do we recommend for their listing. Obviously not all listings are created equal, but we do have some loose recommendations we follow when working with most of our customers.
For example, paying for a full interior, exterior, and aerial video real estate package does not make sense if the property is going to list for $350K. Just like selecting an interior and exterior only package does not make sense when the house is going to list for over $1M.
So below is a table which shows what we typically recommend to our customers:
Real Estate Property Value: $100 – $150,000
Recommended Photography Package: None Explanation: Properties in this range usually will not benefit from professional photography at all
Real Estate Property Value: $160,000 – $300,000
Recommended Photography Package: Interior / Exterior Only Explanation: Properties in this range primarily just need high quality interior and exterior pictures. If the property has a lot of land, waterfront, or a great community, we may recommend aerial as well
Real Estate Property Value: $300,000 – $500,000
Recommended Photography Package: Interior / Exterior / Aerial Explanation: Properties in this range will usually benefit from aerial pictures as well as interior and exterior pictures. Also at the higher end of this price range we start recommending virtual tours of the property.
Real Estate Property Value: $500,000 – $1M
Recommended Photography Package: Interior / Exterior / Aerial / Virtual Tour Explanation: Properties in this range we recommend interior, exterior, aerial, and a virtual tour. For the higher end of this range we recommend our enhanced virtual tours which include exterior video in addition to interior and exterior pictures
Real Estate Property Value: $1M+
Recommended Photography Package: Interior / Exterior / Aerial / Aerial Video / Exterior Video /Interior Video Explanation: Properties in this range we recommend everything to make your listing stand out and to show your customer that you will stop at nothing to sell their exquisite home as quickly as possible.
Keep in mind that these are very loose guidelines and we frequently adjust our recommendations based on the customer’s requirements. Sometimes the real estate agent only won the seller’s business by guaranteeing certain services such as a virtual tour or aerial footage. In those cases we are happy to oblige since we are a full service aerial, traditional, and video provider. But we are in the business to ensure our customer’s get the most value for their footage which is why we make these recommendations.
DroneVU Studios went on location to the US Virgin Islands to film some of it’s amazing ocean, mountain, and beach views. We also brought along a lovely assistant to pose for us as we filmed some of the famous views from around the US Virgin Islands.
The U.S. Virgin Islands consist of the main islands of Saint Croix, Saint John, and Saint Thomas, and many other surrounding minor islands. The total land area of the territory is 133.73 square miles (346.36 km2). The territory’s capital is Charlotte Amalie on the island of Saint Thomas. DroneVU Studios visited the island of Saint Thomas and filmed many of it’s famous attractions.
Tourism is the primary economic activity. The islands normally host 2 million visitors a year, many of whom visit on cruise ships. Additionally, the islands frequently are a starting point for private yacht charters to the neighboring British Virgin Islands.
The official language is English. Virgin Islands Creole, an English-based creole locally known as “dialect”, is spoken in informal situations. The Virgin Islands Creole spoken on St. Croix, known as Crucian, is slightly different from that spoken on St. Thomas and St. John. Because the U.S. Virgin Islands are home to thousands of immigrants from across the Caribbean, Spanish and various French creole languages are also widely spoken.
