Port Manatee Commerce Center

As DroneVU Studios’ aerial and traditional real estate services continues to evolve, we combined aerial video, traditional video, aerial photography, and traditional photography to bring you a tour of the Port Manatee Commerce Center.

About Port Manatee

Port Manatee is one of Florida’s largest and fastest growing deepwater seaports. Located in the eastern Gulf of Mexico at the entrance to Tampa Bay, Port Manatee is also regarded as the closest U.S. deepwater seaport to the Panama Canal – providing shippers with speedy access to Pacific Rim markets.

The port and its partners move approximately 8 million tons of containerized, breakbulk, bulk and project cargo each year including fresh produce, forestry products, petroleum products, citrus juice products, fertilizer, steel, aluminum, automobiles, cement, aggregate and more.

Port Manatee is Fresh Del Monte Produce’s second largest U. S. port facility and is also the Southeast’s leading forestry products importer.

As a leading economic engine, Port Manatee adds more than $2.3 billion dollars annually in regional economic impact and supports more than 24,000 jobs.

About Port Manatee Commerce Center

Port Manatee Commerce Center (PMCC) is a 23-acre, seven-building, 360,000 square-foot near dock, multi-modal transloading and warehouse complex just outside the security gates of Port Manatee and 30 minutes from the Port of Tampa. The warehouses are accessible 24/7 without a TWIC card and are clear span (no interior columns), have skylights, grade and dock level loading, 60-foot wide cargo doors, 26-foot wide bifold doors, and rail docks. Cargo transits from dockside to warehouse, less than 1 mile, on private roads. PMCC warehouse facilities can accommodate both container and bulk shipments.

Port Manatee Commerce Center provides over 30% of the warehousing space for Port Manatee, as well as storage and office space for small businesses and freight forwarders.

Aerial Drone Picture of The Biltmore Estate

DroneVU Studios went on location to the Biltmore Estate located at 1 Approach Road, Asheville, NC to film the exterior of the largest house in the United States.

The Biltmore Estate is a large (8,000 acre) private estate and tourist attraction in Asheville, North Carolina. Biltmore House, the main house on the estate, is a Châteauesque-styled mansion built by George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895 and is the largest privately owned house in the United States, at 178,926 square feet of floor space (135,280 square feet of living area). Still owned by one of Vanderbilt’s descendants, it stands today as one of the most prominent remaining examples of the Gilded Age. In 2007, it was ranked eighth in America’s Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects.

Biltmore has four acres of floor space and a total of 252 rooms in the house including 33 bedrooms for family and guests, 43 bathrooms, 65 fireplaces, three kitchens and 19th-century novelties such as electric elevators, forced-air heating, centrally controlled clocks, fire alarms and an intercom system.

Aerial Real Estate Video Tour of 15505 Kingsmill Place, Odessa FL 33556

In this video we take you on an aerial drone tour of of 15505 Kingsmill Place, Odessa FL 33556 located in the prestigious community of THE EAGLES.

The Community

The gorgeous 4 and 5-bedroom single family homes in The Eagles gated community are nestled between a mix of beautiful oak trees, golf courses, and a pond. Many of the homes in The Eagles community have spectacular pools, heated spas, updated bathrooms, chef kitchens with stainless steels appliances, spacious family rooms and superb master bedrooms. This Hillsborough County community in Odessa is situated North West of Tampa just 20 minutes from the airport, shopping malls, beaches and near some of the best schools in the area.

The Eagles Golf Club

The Eagles Golf Club boasts a long, proud tradition as the standard of excellence for public access golf in the Tampa market. Located in the prestigious Eagles community, the club offers two distinctly different 18 hole challenges on the Lakes and Forest courses. Our partnership with Down to Earth, Inc. for golf course maintenance, assures that the golf courses are maintained in picture perfect condition. This partnership is “Passionately Driven” to provide a memorable experience every time you play.

At 6,719 yards from the championship tees, the Forest Course demands precise shot-making and course management. The driveable par four third is a classic risk/reward opportunity: eagle or “other” is a possible score on this challenging hole. The peninsula green on the par three sixth offers all the characteristic drama of a forced carry over the water. The back nine is nestled in a setting more reminiscent of a nature preserve than a golf course; you’ll find it hard to believe that the Tampa airport is a mere 20 minutes away. Your time spent on these fairways surrounded by the tranquility of the natural surroundings will have you coming back again and again.

Over 7,000 yards “from the tips” the Lakes Course provides a more traditional look and feel than the Forest Course. It takes accurate ball striking and length to successfully navigate this interesting layout. Number one is a twisting, turning par five around a majestic oak in the right center of the fairway; but a birdie is a great way to start your round. Number ten is a dogleg par five which hugs the aqua range from tee to green. A perfectly placed tee shot allows you to “go for it in two”.

Don Cesar Album Published

Aerial Drone Photograph of Don CeSar Hotel
Aerial Drone Photograph of Don CeSar Hotel

DroneVU Studios went on location to create aerial footage of the Don Cesar hotel. Known as Florida’s “Pink Palace,” the Loews Don CeSar Hotel, facing the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, was built in 1928 to resemble a Mediterranean-style castle; located on St. Pete Beach.

In 1924, Thomas Rowe purchased 80 acresof land in St. Petersburg, Florida for $100,000 to begin his dream of building a “pink castle”. He hired Indianapolis architect Henry Dupont to design the hotel and Carlton Beard as contractor. To ensure the stability of the hotel on the shifting sand and avoid the high cost of sinking so many pilings, Beard devised a floating concrete pad and pyramid footings. To this day there is no sign of evident settling of the hotel. The architecture is a blend of Mediterranean and Moorish styles modeled after different hotels and developments that Rowe and Beard saw in Palm Beach, Coral Gables and Boca Raton. Arched openings, red clay tile roofs, balconies, stucco over hollow tile and tower like upper stories were some of the elements that they borrowed. The original design called for a $450,000 six-story hotel with 110 rooms and baths. It was later expanded to 220 rooms and 220 baths and the costs soared to $1.25 million, 300% over budget. Rowe named it Don Ce-Sar after Don CĂ©sar de Bazan, the hero of William Vincent Wallace’s opera Maritana.

We went on location and captured some great aerial footage of what is undoubtedly the most well known strip of real estate in Saint Petersburg Florida.

The Don Cesar hotel is also a popular wedding destination and recently hosted the 2015 Bridal Show. We were on site with Elegant Weddings by Deborah to film the hotel from the air.
