Aerial Drone Real Estate Photography Outlook for 2015

for-sale-sign

As we enter into 2015 the real estate industry is becoming more and more aware of how a birds eye view of real estate properties for sale can set their listing apart from the rest. Potential buyers need more and more incentive to click that next real estate listing as the housing market continues to produce wave after wave of high quality real estate listings.

Potential homebuyers love seeing a different and innovative perspective on their future neighborhood; aerial photographs of listings can show eye catching features such as the beach, equestrian properties, and the surrounding neighborhood.

Terrestrial photography of a real estate listing simply cannot do many real estate listings justice. Aerial photography is becoming the way of the future; showing people the world around them in very personal and innovative ways that were not possible or practical before.

Real estate professionals are well aware of how hard it can be to catch a potential buyer’s eye; the one thing that is sure to set their listings apart is an aerial view of their listing.

At DroneVU Studios we pride ourselves in producing high quality aerial photography and aerial videography of real estate listings around Tampa, Brandon, Clearwater, and other surrounding areas.

Due to current regulations, all aerial footage is completely free of charge. We also specialize in filming the interior of high end listings using traditional photography. Our experienced real estate photographers know how to get the right angles, lighting, and post processing that it takes to produce high quality interior, exterior, and aerial photographs of listings.

The best part is that our presence is pratically unnoticed. Simply send us the address and let us do all of the work. We will send you the completed footage once it is done. We know how busy real estate professionals are, and we make sure that capturing every angle of a listing is the most painless part of advertising the property.

Don’t forget to check out our real estate and construction galleries. We can capture every moment of a new development, from the ground breaking ceremony to the interior of Tampa’s newest addition to the real estate market.

DroneVU Studios went on location to the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to create an aerial photography album of the bridge.

The Travel Channel rated the Sunshine Skyway number 3 in its special on the Top 10 Bridges in the World.

The Bob Graham Sunshine Skyway Bridge is a bridge spanning Tampa Bay, Florida, with a cable-stayed main span, and a total length of 4.1 miles. It is part of I-275 and connects St. Petersburg in Pinellas County and Terra Ceia in Manatee County, Florida, passing through Hillsborough County waters. Construction of the current bridge began in 1982, and the completed bridge was dedicated on February 7, 1987. The new bridge cost $244 million to build, and was opened to traffic on April 20, 1987. It replaced an older bridge constructed in 1954, which was partly destroyed in a collision in 1980.

wannaGOFAST Aerial Video Published

DroneVU Studios went on location to create an aerial video of the wannaGOFAST 2015 event located at Jumbolair in Ocala, Florida. After being cleared for takeoff by the airport manager, we set to work filming the wannaGOFAST event from the air and from the ground.

We captured some great footage of the high speed runs down John Travolta’s private airstrip and made sure to get some great passes over the 144 cars waiting their turn to race down the runway.

wannaGOFAST was founded in order to fill a niche in the motorsports market place. Their goal was to create a safe and controlled environment for fellow car enthusiasts to pursue their “Need for Speed” without the restrictions of the standard 1/8 or ¼ mile drag strip. They have taken a “retro” approach to what Americana used to be and fast forwarded it into Modern Day times with an efficient and unique event platform.

Check out the aerial video footage of their Ocala, FL event and in case you missed it, here is the aerial photo album.

Don Cesar Album Published

Aerial Drone Photograph of Don CeSar Hotel

DroneVU Studios went on location to create aerial footage of the Don Cesar hotel. Known as Florida’s “Pink Palace,” the Loews Don CeSar Hotel, facing the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico, was built in 1928 to resemble a Mediterranean-style castle; located on St. Pete Beach.

In 1924, Thomas Rowe purchased 80 acresof land in St. Petersburg, Florida for $100,000 to begin his dream of building a “pink castle”. He hired Indianapolis architect Henry Dupont to design the hotel and Carlton Beard as contractor. To ensure the stability of the hotel on the shifting sand and avoid the high cost of sinking so many pilings, Beard devised a floating concrete pad and pyramid footings. To this day there is no sign of evident settling of the hotel. The architecture is a blend of Mediterranean and Moorish styles modeled after different hotels and developments that Rowe and Beard saw in Palm Beach, Coral Gables and Boca Raton. Arched openings, red clay tile roofs, balconies, stucco over hollow tile and tower like upper stories were some of the elements that they borrowed. The original design called for a $450,000 six-story hotel with 110 rooms and baths. It was later expanded to 220 rooms and 220 baths and the costs soared to $1.25 million, 300% over budget. Rowe named it Don Ce-Sar after Don César de Bazan, the hero of William Vincent Wallace’s opera Maritana.

We went on location and captured some great aerial footage of what is undoubtedly the most well known strip of real estate in Saint Petersburg Florida.

The Don Cesar hotel is also a popular wedding destination and recently hosted the 2015 Bridal Show. We were on site with Elegant Weddings by Deborah to film the hotel from the air.
